is it worth finding out that everything you thought was wrong or is it better to accept, change, and move on?

Series of Still Life Final
Some of these photos are awful, no photographer here but here is a layout of how I worked on my painting. I like to see the way things change and it was always something I wondered about before coming to art school. The last photo is the final product.

Spring Show
So, I did not make the spring show but I missed the cutoff by THREE points. My teacher is already preparing me for the next one. In any matter, if you’re in the area, check it out, May 24 at 301 Brannan St. Should be pretty cool.

Thanks
Thank you to everyone who went and voted for my paintings to get into the spring show! You all rock! I find out tomorrow; it was so nice to see my paintings hanging in a room other than my own. Overwhelming though huh? This school has got some great painters.

Motherless Womb
I had many undetermined plans for this piece, but for the most part I am pleased with how it turned out. I like the mixed media of it. The baby is a painting that I have sewn onto a dress. I played with some patchwork and cut the dress up a little to catch more of a narrative.
