This is a painting I did for my Dad’s birthday. It is my first attempt at painting anything more than imaginitive concepts…and still lifes.

there are days of divine attentive distractions,
to which one can’t see past
others
impression
it might, raise, questions, or egos
or stimulation of perception
or it might run, too far to catch and all is left answered except
is this real?

painstaking predictions cant materialize the colors
to fade fast into whirlwinds of faces and places and things to plant
to grow into trees with webs
and spiders that wad silk in my eyes so that i cry fabric
of dresses with wombs in tact
to see these rainbows is to feel its transparancies.
